Kuznetsov's
Team
In
the late 1980s, I was working on a database on alternative, folk and
other
unconventional methods of healing. That was when I first met
Kuznetsovs
team. The core group was made up
of people with very different backgrounds many far from medicine at
all, there
were also a few medical doctors there, working part time. I'd been
introduced
to the professor of endocrinology Vladimir Snegirev who came one day to
the
office to protest against the method because his diabetic patients were
quitting insulin. However, after Dr. Snegirev investigated a number of
cases,
he was so convinced that he joined Kuznetsov's team, too.
"What the Kuznetsovs people are saying
about the method is awful, complained he to me, "The medical
illiteracy
of theirs is not even funny. But
when you look at the results, at all the hundreds who are getting so
much
relief, all you can do is set aside your medical literacy and work hard
to
promote the method." What he
meant by illiteracy was their statement the Applicator cures all, but
we both
heard a few of the group's other favorite clauses, or rather
incantations,
like:
"All
the filth of your disease has to drip out of your body through the
needles," "The needles connect you with energy channels of the
Universe,"
"The
needles are antennas to receive the healing commands from the Cosmos,"
etc. Or was it an intuitive
approach to imply Guided Imagery and Faith Healing?
In
time I met Mr. Kuznetsov personally.
In his 80s, he looked incredibly robust and merrily
aggressive,
you
could never tell that two decades go he was practically handicapped.
Most of
all, I had dealings with Valeri Punin, an engineer and the engineer in
the
team.
I
also met a neurologist, a physician, and nurses who worked for the team
and
everybody told me approximately the same story of disbelief and
conviction. They let me look
through some files consisting mostly of people's letters written to
Ivan
Kuznetsov containing success stories. Nobody among the stuff bothered
analyzing
the invaluable information concealed dormant in these files.
