How About Acupuncture?
If you take a look at any acupuncture meridian map,
you will see that in the most usual supine position with the Applicator
under one's back, the acupoints involved can be expected to improve the
following body functions:
• Strengthening the liver, spleen and kidney.
• Alleviating headaches, fatigue depression and insomnia.
• Activating the immune system.
• Relieving flu, cold and asthma.
• Regulating digestion and elimination.
• Improving the conditions of cystitis, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, PMS,
and complicated periods.
• Easing spinal problems, sciatica, muscle spasms and cramps.

This
is all wonderful, but the question still exists on just how acupuncture
works.
Aside from metaphysical explanations about cosmic energy flow through
the
channel meridians, and despite the well-proven fact that acupuncture

works, there are very few proven theories. >

is a principle: not to pile on more theories than necessary. In other
words,
while there are still simple answers (in this case, physiological) not
to bring
in such exotic theories as cosmic energy.
To follow that principle means to stay within the
scientific paradigm.
